Our verdict
Crypto Fund Trader (CFT) is built for crypto traders first. You can trade 550+ USDT futures pairs through your own Bybit account, or 556 cryptocurrencies on MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader, with leverage up to 1:100 on Advanced, Bybit and Break accounts and no time limit on evaluations.
It comes with trade-offs. The five programs follow very different rules, simulated profit is capped at $10,000 per day or per trade, and the website has been on the warning list of FINMA, the Swiss financial regulator, since August 2024. Read the regulatory note below before you pay for a challenge.
What CFT sells is an evaluation on a simulated account. If you pass and keep to the rules, CFT pays you a share of your simulated profit, which it calls a performance-based or scholarship reward.

Rules at a glance
These are the rules that end accounts or hold up payouts. Each one has CFT’s own numbers; the rules hub has the detail and the source.
Daily loss limit: 5% or 4%
5% on 2-Phase and 3-Phase, 4% on 1-Phase and Instant. The reference is your balance at 00:05 UTC each day, and breaches are checked on equity, so open losses count. Drawdown rules, explained.
Trailing drawdown: 6% on 1-Phase
The floor starts 6% under your starting balance, follows your highest balance, and stops for good once it reaches your starting balance.
Break trailing loss limit: 4% or 3%
On Break accounts, total open and closed losses cannot exceed 4% of your highest balance on $25,000 and $50,000 accounts, or 3% on $100,000.
Consistency rule: 40%, Break only
On Break funded accounts, no single day can make more than 40% of your total profit when you ask for a payout. Consistency rule, with examples.
News trading: allowed, except on Ascend
Ascend blocks new trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news and market openings. The other programs allow news trading.
Reverse trading: not within 60 seconds
You cannot hold opposite positions on the same asset for 60 seconds or more, or hedge across your own accounts. An opposite trade on the same instrument is allowed once the first one has been open for 24 hours.
Profit cap: $10,000 per day or per trade
Once simulated profit passes $10,000 in one day or from one trade, open trades can be closed and the excess deducted. Several trades opened together as one strategy can count as a single trade.
